How You Can Enable Mod Support For Fallout 4 PC Version Publish Patch 1.2

Yesterday, Bethesda launched a completely new patch 1.2 for PC form of Fallout 4. The update added newer and more effective features and transported treatment for a few of the nasty issues, read the entire changelog here. The sad area of the patch is it disables mod support for Fallout 4, but thankfully a brief workaround has been seen as with a user on Nexusmods “Gameaholic”.

Fallout 4

Here’s how you can re-enable mod support for Fallout 4 post patch 1.2:

  • Step 1: Open Nexus Mod Manager (you will need this and can be downloaded from here!)
  • Step 2: Launch your game, wait in the launcher before starting the game
  • Step 3: Re-enable the mods using Nexus Mod Manager, you will notice launch disables them
  • Step 4: Hit Play
  • Step 5: Play your game, you paid for your way

Please note this is a temporary workaround for this nasty issue. Bethesda might have unintentionally disabled this feature, I am expecting a permanent fix from Bethesda via Hotfix soon.
